Brewfest 2019

Brewfest 2019 runs from September 20th to October 6th 2019, it is a festival based on specialty drinks and food like pretzels and sausage, with a little ram racing too.  There are a few things which are new for 2019 including the sausage eating contest and a new Brewfest themed hearthstone, along with various pets, mounts and toys from previous years.

The currency for Brewfest is Brewfest Prize Tokens and they can be collected from the introductory quests Welcome to Brewfest!, Chug and Chuck!, There and Back Again and Brewfest Chowdown as well as on a daily basis from the holiday dungeon, Coren Direbrew, the Ram Riding, Brewery Announcements, Bark For...!, and the Hozen, Alemental or Dark Iron invasions.  You can use these tokens to buy the new toys and transmog items.

New 2019 Toys
Brewfest Reveler's Hearthstone (200 Brewfest Prize Tokens)
"Return home in the most jubilant way possible!"
Brewfest Chowdown Trophy - Proudly display your Brewfest Chowdown Trophy!
This trophy is sold by Britta Steinheart (alliance) and by Etga (horde) just outside the Brewfest festival ground for 5 Chowdown Champion Tokens.  You can collect these tokens by winning the new Chowdown Minigame.
In this minigame you need to take a seat for the Chowdown with three other players and compete to eat sausages, eat 10 plates before your opponents to win.  You get three buttons to eat, drink and request more food.  Eating increases your bar, drinking will reduce it and if the bar fills you will choke interrupting you for a few seconds.  Requesting more food gets you another plate containing 2-5 sausages.  Clear 10 plates before your opponents to win.

New 2019 Transmog
Garland of Grain (150 Brewfest Prize Tokens)
Tabard of Brew (200 Brewfest Prize Tokens)
Bottomless Brewfest Stein (10 Brewfest Prize Tokens), this can not be transmoged but is a really nice new stein to add to the purple, green and others from previous years.  Unfortunately you can only drink from it during Brewfest.

Enjoy your beer and sausage!
