Blizzconline: What next for Shadowlands

February 19th-21st 2021 was Blizzconline. Blizzcon is the Blizzard Convention usually held in Anaheim California in November.  Due to the covid pandemic lockdowns this could not happen in 2020.

Blizzconline is the online version of this convention where announcements for all the Blizzard games are made, including upcoming patches, expansions and new games.  I own quite a few Blizzard games but the one I am most interested in and I play the most is World of Warcraft.  

So what is up next for WOW in the Shadowlands?

Quite a lot.  The next big patch is Shadowlands Chains of Domination (patch 9.1) where we will be travelling to the maw to fight back and discover the plans of the Jailer.  There is also a new zone, Korthia, City of Secrets, and many new rewards to collected including a severed hand mount.

There is also a few more new things to look forward to:

-A new 10 boss raid, the Sanctum of Domination where the final boss will be Sylvanas.  

-A new Mega-Dungeon, Tazavesh, the veiled market.  Set in the bar of the mysterious brokers this dungeon will have 8 bosses and many unique rewards of special weapons, exotic pets and a mount.

-New layers of Torghast including a new wing and many new anima powers.

-Flying, which will be linked to your renown level and not to reputation so as long as you carry on and keep up with the weekly covenant and campaign progress you will get it.  This will also include a special covenant specific mount reward.

.... and more.

I am really looking forward to the new patch.  Especially the raid and the story that goes along with the fight with Sylvanas.  Also there are some pretty cool new mounts and pets coming for me to collect.  No date has been set yet for this patch but we do know that patch 9.05 will be coming very soon.
